The Story

Celebrate culture, story, and everyday functionality with our Aboriginal Design Tea Towel — a beautiful piece that brings meaning into your home.

Featuring authentic Aboriginal artwork, each tea towel showcases rich colours, symbolic patterns, and storytelling inspired by Country and connection. Made from high-quality, absorbent fabric, it’s designed to be both practical and visually striking — perfect for drying dishes, styling your kitchen, or gifting.

When Ngurunderi travelled through what is now Ngarrindjeri country he came down the Murray River in his canoe. At that time it was just a small stream. Ngurunderi was looking for his two wives who had run away from him and was following Pondi, the big Murray Cod who had created the twists and turns of the river when sweeping his huge tail from side to side. Ngurunderi was trying to spear Pondi all the way along the journey.

Royalties from this product directly benefit the artist and their community and the tea towel is packaged with information about the artist and artwork.
